AUSTIN CR at austinstats.com is a fan-built, non-commercial site about Austin CR's YouTube network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run together with Austin CR, YouTube, Google or Supercell.

This page says exactly what the site records when you visit and why. There are no ads, no data is sold, and no cross-site advertising trackers are used.

Who is responsible

The site is built and run by Maciej Borkowski (exe_data). Questions about this policy, or about your data: maybe.i.am.exe.data@gmail.com.

What gets recorded when you visit

Opening a page stores one row on the server containing:

• which page you opened, and when
• a randomly generated visitor ID and session ID (see Cookies below)
• your IP address
• the country resolved from that IP address
• your browser's user-agent string, plus a flag for whether it looks automated
• whether this looked like your first visit
• a "still here" timestamp, updated by a small ping when you leave a page, used only to estimate how long an average visit lasts

The point is to know how many people use the site, which pages are worth improving, and to stop the bug form from being flooded. Under the GDPR this rests on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). It is plain audience measurement, not profiling: nothing here is used to make decisions about you, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Cookies

Two cookies, both set by this site alone:

• vid - a random visitor ID, so someone coming back is not counted as a new person. Lasts 2 years. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax.
• sid - a random session ID, grouping the pages you open in one sitting. Lasts 30 minutes. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax.

Neither holds your name, e-mail, or anything you typed, and neither is used for advertising. Traffic that looks automated gets no cookies at all. Block or delete them and the site still works normally - every visit is simply counted as a new one. The embedded YouTube player on video pages is a separate matter, covered under Third parties.

The "Report a bug" form

Sending a bug report stores your message, the page you were on, your IP address and the time. The IP address is what enforces the 15-minute wait between reports. Please don't put personal details in the message - it only needs to describe what broke.

Third parties

There is no Google Analytics here and no advertising network. The site does reach these services:

• ip-api.com - visitor IP addresses are sent there in batches to resolve which country a visit came from. This request is made by the server, not your browser.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) - your browser downloads the page fonts from Google, so Google receives your IP address and user-agent.
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) - delivers the charting library used on the Statistics page.
• YouTube / Google - video thumbnails and channel avatars load from YouTube's servers on most pages. Video pages embed YouTube's own player, which follows YouTube's privacy policy and can set its own cookies once it loads.
• Buy Me a Coffee - only if you click that link. Nothing of theirs loads otherwise.

Where the data lives

On a virtual server in Warsaw, Poland (EU), in a SQLite database that is not reachable from the internet. Only the site owner can read it, through a password-protected admin panel.

How long it is kept

Page-view records and bug reports are kept for as long as the site runs - there is no automatic deletion yet. Bug reports can be deleted manually at any time. If you want your data gone sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction of it, or its deletion, and you can object to it being recorded at all. Write to maybe.i.am.exe.data@gmail.com. The only thing tying a record to you is your IP address, so include it if you want your rows found. You can also complain to your data-protection authority - in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

This is a general-audience fan project, not aimed at children under 13. No age is ever asked for and none is stored.
